6:00-8:00pm

  • A Lazy Rigger's Guide to Tears with Nevertheless and Freya
    • Torture rope does not have to be hard, sweaty, or complicated (for the rigger). After a review of safety, we will show three basic elements that can be used to bring tears and pain. We will include a positional sequence that requires minimal effort and yields lots of hurt.

      Intermediate

Prerequisites: none for floor work, chest harness and how to secure an upline for positional sequence

Rope: 3-5 8m pieces of rope, hard point for sequence

  • Rope Care and Keeping with Nova
    • Ahh, natural fiber rope.  The smell, the feel, those sexy creaks when it twists against itself.  We love our natural fiber rope.  However, natural fiber rope needs love and caretaking throughout all of the stages of its life, whether that be when it’s fresh, fluffy baby rope, or a well worn-in cord with a lot of experience.  In this combination demo/hands on class, we’ll discuss the different ways to take care of jute rope specifically. We will discuss getting a new kit conditioned and ready to tie, as well as how to maintain your rope through heavy use.  Participants will be able to lay hands on pieces of rope in different stages of its life, as well as bring their own rope for conditioning and care.  So bring your rope, bring your questions, and let’s discuss rope maintenance!

8:00pm - 2:00am DUNGEON

Saturday

9:00-11:00am

  • The Joy of Tying with Nevertheless and Freya
    • We’ve all been there, going through a tie and we’ve finished whatever pattern or binding we’ve set out to tie only to find that we have an extra arm length of rope dangling in the breeze with a single thought on our mind… “What am I supposed to do with all this?!”  Well friends, fret not.  In this class not only will we give you options of exactly “what do” but endeavor to change your very perspective on the extra rope.  We’ll help show you how that excess rope can be an avenue to let your creativity flow into the tie and help you think where that happy little rope can live in your world.

      Beginner/Intermediate

Prerequisite: Know how to tie a thing.

  • Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend with DanielleGrey and Midnight Red
    • In this upper body arms free harness class, we will be constructing a versatile harness that can be used for suspension and floor applications. Danielle and Midnight Red will first demo then host a tie along for the harness. During this time, they will be happy to talk about special considerations, adaptations for comfort and sustainability, and key notes to make about the body application.

There is an additional option that will allow the arms to be brought in and bound, if there is time and interest at the end.

      Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate

What to bring: It is recommended that you bring 2-4 lengths of rope with you to complete this harness.

Prerequisites: A non-collapsible single column tie

11:00am-1:00pm

  • Locked and Lowded with LunaticBound
    • There are challenges that come with every low hands TK. Long stems, open shoulders, bridged wrists and more can lead to instability where we don't want it. In this intermediate class we are going to work on a low hands TK that is more than a little different, it's low and it's locked.

      Prerequisites:

A stable single column tie, and basic frictions

You will need 4-5, 8 meter lengths of rope

  • A Tale of Two Rope Energies with Des and Elise
    • So you’ve got some of the basics down and you’re ready to level up your rope game? In this class we’ll level up from those skills by introducing you to two variations in toppy rope energy that play off of different anatomical structures in the brain: the “bossy” left hemisphere implicated in the production of language and spatial reasoning, and the “primal” right hemisphere implicated in non-verbal communication, intuition, and emotional regulation.

We’ll practice leaning into both approaches, with exploring intention space and delivering spoken commands in the former; and getting in touch with forward-energy and applying it using basic balance/body manipulation techniques borrowed from the Chinese martial arts techniques of push hands and chi sao.

On the bottoming side, we’ll provide opportunities to experience both spoken and non-verbal top energy, as well as provide opportunities to negotiate and interrupt the flow of those things with verbal and non-verbal safewords. The same differences in energies can also be explored in self-tying, and we will provide time and guidance to practice those implementations too.

1:00-2:00pm LUNCH ON YOUR OWN

2:00-4:00pm

  • Moving While Tying with LunaticBound
    • In this advanced class we are going to take an upper body Diamond tie and combine it with body manipulation to create a tie that is effective at distributing load and keeps our bottoms moving. In this class we will work on movement balance and getting into the habit of creating more than just patterns when we tie.

      Prerequisites:

Riggers: the capability of tying several styles of Diamond (Hishi) upper body ties.

Bottoms: will need to be able to box their arms for this class

You will need 3-5, 8 meter lengths of rope

4:00-6:00pm

  • Flying In-Between with Suolinga and Nirathekitten
    • This self tie course will be revolving around partials where we will be diving into better upline practices, body manipulation, and building a self tying scene. We will teach no harnesses, but instead will be focused on concepts and putting the knowledge you have into practice. Taught by two self tiers, with very different styles, we hope to take your scenes to the next level.

Please bring: Partial suspension rope kit and something to take notes
Because this is a self-tie class, this is the one class in the weekend where you can purchase an individual ticket for this one class, rather than registering for the entire weekend as a tying pair!

  • The Total Package Hip Harness with DanielleGrey and Midnight Red
    • In this hip harness class, we will be constructing a versatile harness that can be used for suspension and floor applications. Danielle and Midnight Red will first demo then host a tie along for the harness. During this time, they will be happy to talk about special considerations, adaptations for comfort and sustainability, and key notes to make about the body application. This harness is able to be self tied.

      Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate

What to bring: It is recommended that you bring 3-5 lengths of rope with you to complete this harness.

After reviewing fundamentals and discussing the agura position, we will build a simple agura tie and show a few of the many ways you can work an agura into your play. From bedroom bondage to torture and even suspension, the agura is a useful building block that can be used often in your rope journey.

      Beginner/ Intermediate

Prerequisites: None. This is a beginner friendly, all levels class

Rope: 2-3 8m pieces of rope

1:00-3:00pm

  • Climbing the Ladder with LunaticBound
    • This class is all about a fun and simple floor tie that works quite well with dresses, skirts, kilts and kimono. This beginner's class is going to talk about how we lay and control tension on the body to create exposure and a sense of vulnerability in a progressive fashion. As we work through this sequence we will control and manipulate the upper body and then the legs. With a focus on direction of tension, handling, and communication our goal is to create exposure and vulnerability as we climb both sides of the body like a ladder.

      Prerequisites:

A stable single column tie, basic frictions, and a load bearing chest tie

You will need 3-5, 8 meter lengths of rope

  • The Nerve! with Nova
    • We all know what it's like to get on someone's nerves, but what about when we're doing rope?  Our nerves are how we interact with our world, through sensation and movement, and a well known risk of rope bondage is injury to these vital organs.  In this class, we'll be going head to toe on the body talking about the nerves that are often encountered and injured in our favorite rope ties.  This class will be lecture based, with medical diagrams and human body modeling for examples.  Bring your notebooks, and get ready to learn about The Nerve of some people!

No rope is required for this class, but bring your notebooks for note taking!

All levels of experience are welcome.

3:00-5:00pm

  • An Introduction to Takedown Bondage with LunaticBound
    • Throw them down and tie them up is the goal of this class. We are going to go over some techniques for adding various levels of combativeness to our bondage including a double loop tie capture cuff and a diamond tie that looks a lot like a simple TK. With a focus on technique and repetition we will be covering some very simple take downs and body manipulation as well as adding resistance and restraint.

      Prerequisites:

A stable single column tie, basic frictions, and a stable load bearing chest tie

Bottoms will need to be able to box their arms for this class

You will need 1-4, 8 meter lengths of rope

  • Up, Up and... Line? with Nirathekitten and Suolinga
    • Whether you are already doing rope suspension, tying your partner to a bedpost, or securing your couch in the back of a truck, this class is for you! Locking off lines has many different uses, and we invite riggers and bottoms of all skill levels to learn how to do it more safely and efficiently.

This tie-along class is beginner friendly, HOWEVER, we will be discussing more intermediate subject matter, such as partials and suspension. Please practice within your current skill level and understand this class will not teach partials, suspension, any harnesses, or load distribution.

      Skill level: Intermediate

      Prerequisites: Non-collapsing single column cuff

What to bring: 3-4 hanks of rope, something to take notes, and a backpack, bag, weight, chair, or rope bottom. :)
