About FIRE

Our Mission

FIRE (Florida Intensive Rope Events) is a community-driven organization dedicated to advancing rope bondage education through immersive, high-quality learning experiences. We believe in creating safe, inclusive, and supportive environments where practitioners of all skill levels can deepen their knowledge, refine their technique, and connect with a vibrant community of rope enthusiasts.

What We Do

Since our founding, FIRE has become a cornerstone of rope bondage education in the southeastern United States. Based in Orlando, Florida, we host three annual events throughout the year, each thoughtfully designed to serve different experience levels and learning objectives:

• BLAZE - Our spring event focused on beginner to intermediate rope skills, providing a welcoming entry point for those new to rope or looking to strengthen their foundations.
• FLARE - A summer intensive for intermediate to advanced practitioners ready to push their boundaries and explore complex techniques.
• FIRE - Our flagship fall convention, offering advanced and expert-level content for serious rope artists and educators.

Our Values

Education First

We partner with nationally and internationally recognized rope educators to deliver world-class instruction. Every presenter is carefully selected for their teaching ability, technical expertise, and commitment to safety and consent.

Safety & Consent

Safety and enthusiastic consent are non-negotiable at all FIRE events. We maintain strict policies and provide resources to ensure that every participant can learn and practice in a physically and emotionally safe environment.

Quality Over Quantity

Rather than cramming schedules with endless classes, we focus on providing sufficient time for hands-on practice, integration, and meaningful connection. Learning rope is a journey, not a race.

Our Team

FIRE events are produced by a dedicated team of rope enthusiasts who volunteer their time and expertise to bring these experiences to life. Our team includes event producers, venue coordinators, safety monitors, and community volunteers who share a passion for rope education and community building.

Event Producers

Our production team brings years of experience in event management, rope practice, and community leadership. They work year-round to curate exceptional lineups, secure venues, and ensure every detail contributes to an outstanding learning experience.

Safety Team

Our trained safety monitors are present throughout all events to provide support, answer questions, and help maintain a respectful and consent-focused environment.

Our Venue

FIRE's BLAZE and FLARE events are primarily held at The Woodshed, a premier dungeon and event space in Orlando, Florida. The venue features multiple teaching areas, suspension points, practice spaces, and amenities designed specifically for rope bondage education and practice.

Our FLAGSHIP Event F.I.R.E. (Florida Intese Rope Experience) , returning in 2027 is typically held in an area Hotel and Convention Center space in Orlando, Florida. The larger venue allows us to bring more classes, educators, catering, meet & greets, photo lounges and more to our FLAGSHIP event
