Lily's first exposure to rope was in 2017 when she dived into the scene. She was drawn to rope bottoming first and foremost, but after attending a few community rope classes she started self-tying as well. After an extended break from the scene she came back in 2024 with a desire to tie and be tied. Building on the tying fundamentals she'd retained, she expanded her self-tying skills to include basic self-suspensions and steadily progressed to more advanced dynamic self-suspensions.
Lily's style of self-suspension is centered in her identity as a masochist and focuses on pushing herself both physically and mentally. In her self-suspensions she is always aiming to improve her technical skills while exploring the boundaries of her body's tolerance for pain and discomfort. She doesn't recommend anyone tie the way she ties herself, however she's always happy to teach the principles she adheres to and her technical preferences. Moreso, she loves to encourage everybody to find their own personal and unique way to enjoy rope by themselves and/or with others.
Outside of rope, Lily is a neurodivergent nerd obsessed with being obsessed with things and terrified of being taken seriously. Current obsessions include rope, magic the gathering, and local coffee shops. She speaks conversational Japanese (poorly), has a tendency to space out mid-sentence, infrequently struggles with auditory processing lag, and has a dark sense of humor delivered with dry wit. She's excited to make her debut as an educator with BLAZE 2026, and hopes that you'll be patient with her and not injure yourself or others with any of the things she teaches.
