Sorin Sorin, TheBondageBat (they/she), a non-binary rope switch, began their personal rope journey in Orlando in May 2023 and never looked back! Sorin is motivated by their interest in making rope accessible for that “younger Sorin” to kickstart their own passion and love for rope. That motivation led them to first step up and give back to Orlando TNG, where they started their involvement in the community, and they continued giving back by teaching folks Rope 101 fundamentals in April 2024. Still actively teaching for Orlando Rope Study Group, intermittently for Orlando Rope Bite, and ad-hoc during open dungeon nights, they now have over 30 “notches in their belt” of various rope teaching experiences. Outside of kink, they are incredibly nerdy and usually geeking out about video games. They are probably counting down the days until Halloween or playing around in Excel documents to analyze data for fun.
