Self Tying Rites
Class Info
"Self-tying serves many practical purposes. It allows repetition, problem solving, develops body awareness- and so much more. But what about the mental narrative? The emotional impact? How do we make self-tying more than just a series of steps and procedures, and instead into its own scene?
Join Suolinga on a dive into how to create meaning in your scenes- or as they say, ‘gaslighting their brain into being emotional’. In this class we’ll be talking about the soft skills that are so often neglected in self-tying, and how the same tools we find used in organized religions can be used for creating our own sense of connection with something larger than ourselves. This will be a mixture of lecture and hands on exercises, so bring your notebook, your rope, and a willingness to view your tying from a new perspective."
